Our Story
Launched on Dec 1 2023 by a silly kitty-adoring lady, Sandi F., Whisker Dreams is the combination of multiple ambitions all snuggled into one cardboard box.
After working in ecommerce for over 11 years, I wanted to challenge myself to use my skills I have learned, my art, and my passion to hopefully bring a pawsitive impact to cats and their cat families around the world.
Back in 2020 two adorable kittens, Bandit and Ghost, were adopted to two first-time cat owners, Sandi and her husbie. From their tiny ears and paws to their many naps, we were happier and loving them more every day. Unfortunately, Bandit and Ghost, were later diagnosed with the disease FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and it was some of the most emotionally and informatively challenging months to come after that.

Despite it being known as one of the most top three diseases cats are tested for upon adoption, this sickness can also go undetected for some time. After receiving the diagnosis, there was such little information to find solace in on the disease FeLV.
Unfortunately Bandit and Ghost had to pass the rainbow bridge at the ages of ten months (Bandit) and one year & three months (Ghost), but their memory and love survives in their family’s hearts.
Even though it may seem too short, they made such an impact on the lives they touched! They are my perfect boys.
After some time, it was undeniable that we still had love to give and there were more kittens in need of a home. We decided to adopt two more kitty siblings, Rock and Roll, and we are so grateful for their company.

Inspired by how full cats have made their home, I decided to challenge myself to help celebrate the small moments we have with our chosen family. I wanted to honor the memory of Bandit & Ghost, support and celebrate cats in general, and ideally raise money to help fund research on cures for diseases like FeLV. It is a strong hope that a cure can be found so other paw-rents can live with their chosen family for many more years.

5% of all profits are donated to support EveryCat Health Foundation’s Cancer & Oncology Research in finding cures for diseases like FeLV.
